i had sex two weeks ago with my boyfriend and we used protection, but my period is ten days late, i have been under a lot of stress recently but i have never missed a period before due to stress, and i just got brown discharge today so does that mean i am pregnant? or why did i even get the brown discharge?

Brown discharge is normal. You are about to get your period. You may have had a miscarriage, that is why you are late. 80% of late periods are miscarriages.

The brown discharge can be normal...you may just be late or missing a period from the stress. It's good that you are having 'protected' sex, but there still is a possibility of being pregnant. take a home test - or wait and see what happens next month. Just because you've never missed before, doesn't mean you wont ever. Your body is always changing.

I would wait a few more days and take another test. You could possibly go to the dollar store and get those, they should work just as well. I know buying a lot of hpts can become very expensive. If you are going to have sex and don't want a child or run the risk of contracting stds, please use a condom. The pull-out method is not reliable because men have pre-*** and sometimes don't realize it. If you are only one week late it may be too early for a positive test or you may just be stressing too much which will sometimes affect your period. Either way, I would say just to try to relax (I know that's easier said than done) and wait a few more days to take another test. If its positive you will have to go from there. If its negative, I would say you are most likely not pregnant. Good luck.

Get a pregnancy test, a double set, from your pharmacy and take a test tonight, take the next in a week. Pregnancy tests can now determine a positive result two days following your first missed period. If both are positive, go to your OB/GYN.

You could be pregnant. The brown discharge suggests old blood, and could be from the implantation of the zygote in the uterine lining (endometrium). The fertilized egg (zygote) attaches to the endometrium and forms the placenta there, sometimes causing slight bleeding at the site.

You may be pregnant, but take a test to be sure, also the stress could be the reson of your late period. Relax .

brown discharge is discharged blood that has already dried up due to hitting the air. If it does start to get very very clumpy and heavy you could possibly have a miscarriage. Please go to the dr. if this happens. But brown discharge is normal for any woman.

could be inplantation bleeding, meaning, yes you're preggo... i would go get a test... but pay attention, early pregnancy still might give you a negative test. or it might have a very faint second line. congrats mommy!!
