I am doing research as we have just gone through an astronomical rate hike. (Friends and Neighbors are now paying $400-$500 per month for AC.) If you know your rate per KWh (excluding delivery charges) could you please provide it below along with your state? Thanks soooo much to everyone who responds.

I don't have the exact charge, but I live in LA county and I have my air on ALL THE TIME. I also run 2-3 fans non-stop. My bill comes to about $120 every 2 months. LADWP bills come out bi-monthly. So, on average about $60/mo. I have a 1 bedroom apartment. I don't cook very often. I mostly use the air, the fans, tv and lights every night. Actually, if I'll be out for several hours and know that I'll be home after dark, I usually leave a light on as well. Hope this helps.

hope everyone is sitting down.

in the US Virgin Islands ( down here in the Caribbean) the local power company charges 28 cents a kWh. It peaked at 32 last year.

A/C , as you can imagine, is quite expensive.

Of course,we don't have a heating bill.......

Anyone who wants to whine about paying 12 cents per, I don't want to hear it.........
