Make life easier, just use Cyberlink's Power DVD. Works great on DVD in my laptops and desktops.

an extra handy thank you to try this's pass into controle pannel then device, then hardware tab choose your video card then properties then pass to re-deploy drivers that's going to then ask in case you choose to have an internet verify choose specific this time basically . It then could locate the drivers online wish this helps mate.

I hate to say it, but Windows Media Player is a terrible choice to play DVD's with. Try WinDVD or PowerDVD.
