Why do ugly celebrities like Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham think that they are gorgeous?

I hate Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson aswell!!!
Let's face it, ugly celebrities do think they are sexy when clearly they are not. Does'nt it just make you sick that they truly believe that they are God when they are no more than the average person.
Why is it that they get abit of fame and then think that there s**t does'nt stink?

They think so because in the main, WE tell them so. If we didn't look, they'd fade away.

If you were told something about you constantly even though it wasn't true, sooner or later you would believe it. All the celebs you mentioned are told lies because they have influence and if you can become friends with someone like that then you will tell them those same lies too. Why does Paris have influence? She is heir to a fortune, which just goes to show you that people born into wealth aren't necessarily able to handle the responsibility. As far as Brittany and Jessica are concerned its all about still being able to put out money making music. As long as people buy it then they will have influence. Lets all boycott bimbo's.

I just wish Paris would do away with the blue contacts, and that everyone would go natural!

Sure, it's easy to be "pretty" by Hollywood standards when you bleach your hair or get extensions, have plastic surgery, and take two hours to get ready, but I'd like to see these women without all that, and see if they're still "pretty" by anyone's standards.

Sexy, I'm glad you look at women for who they are, and aren't influenced by the "plasticization" of Hollywood.

Well, doesn't just take a bottle of Bleach Blonde and crappy extensions to be considered fantastic?

I know - there are so many more of us that have so many better qualities (besides being beautiful, of course) than these ladies.
But we'll never see that kind of cash. Oh well - I'd rather be me than recycled plastic.
I don't think they are ugly - I don't like them making money off of acting stupid either.

Because the media and their followers reinforce their beliefs daily. Plus, half of being hot is thinking you are. There are plenty of people who a lot of people find hot, but if you didn't know anything about them and just saw a photograph you woudln't think so. Take Tom Cruise for instance.
