Yes. The law says nothing about it. However, it is not a wise thing to do for the corrections officer. He/She opens themselves up to claims of undue influence, etc.

I think the laws would only cover a corrections officer and an inmate, and certainly they aren't allowed to fool around while one of them is locked up and the other one has a gun.
Pretty much it would be allowed after the inmate is free. Then, two adults can do what they like (legally, at least).
There are probably some sort of ethical violations among correctional officers about having sex with an inmate, especially if you met them while they were incarcerated or something, but nothing illegal about it.

I do know that inmate or former inmate can not have relations with certain law enforcement officers like those who do finger prints, I don't know whether its the law or not

As a general rule, if you have to ask, the answer is 'it's illegal.'
Although, I don't see how it would be illegal, as long as the relationship started after the inmate left the facility, and the relationship had nothing to do with the inmate leaving.
