some women are fussy about their weight so wouldnt necessarily eat chocolates if they were bought for them...personally i wouldnt mind i love chocolates.
i also love flowers but some people are allergic, although this could be the case with just about anything, so probably not helpful.
flowers i think are more sentimental then chocolates and roses are the most romantic flower, although not always everyones favourite.
to be honest if it were me i would love it anyway just because of the thought put in to it, flowers are pretty and chocolates are tasty.
i think some people are to fussy for their own good, if you take into account the persons personality and habits im sure you can work out the best thing for her.
if you know that she watches her figure and works out alot i'd opt for the flowers, however if you know her favourite food is pizza then choloates are more then likely going to go down a treat.
flowers can signify a more meanignful relationship also i mean guys have brought me chocolates but never flowers, so depends on how serious the relationship is.
good luck
sorry i wasnt more helpful x

If you really want to impress a lady...what you do is get flowers...Roses are nice but not red (at least red alone) as that is too predictable....You could find out what her favorite is without her knowing and buy a small box of gourmet chocolates with a nice bow. Make sure your bouquet of flowers comes beautifully arranged in a nice vase perhaps with those colored beads at the bottom of a crystal vase. Also be sure that the arrangement you get has a beautiful scent. Good Luck and I hope this helps you out!

Roses. Clearly.

Chocolate can be a treat, but roses mean love and romance.

Even diamonds comes (a close) second, but, in the Western World, a gift of roses is clearly understood to mean passionate love.

One does NOT give roses to a casual acquaintance.

Roses. I love chocolate, but I'm on a diet. Seriously.

Both lol but roses are better as it will let her know that you were really thinking of her when u bought them, as chocolates u can pick them up anywhere and theres not alot of thought its like a last minute thing but if u have the money go for both and spoil her.

Chocolate, I hate the smell of roses. I don't know about romantic, but if a guy gave me flowers, I'd probably be grateful but disappointed. What am I supposed to do with them?

Something that is personal, that has meaning - then it can be accompanied by chocolate and roses. A sinlge rose at the right time can mean more than dozens - make a memory, not a moment
