I think Neandercons value money and power over country in my opinion and hide behind the skirt of family values and patriotism in a nutshell.

Rudy in my opinion is a radical sect of conservatism that could become militant if elected. God help us.

You know, no party has a monopoly on greed.

Yes! Republicans like Money.

So do the Democrats, they just like Republicans Money.

What do Republicans Value?
1) Personal responsibility - There is no such thing as a free lunch. You earn what you get, you get what you earn. (We believe that if you give a man a fish he will eat for a day, but if you teach a man to fish he will eat for life. It seems to us that the Dems always want the fish without the lesson)

2) Government never does the job as well as the private sector, (i.e. public schools, and hurricane Katrina) and if I want to give to a charity, I should be able to pick the charity. Can anyone think of one thing that government has done more effectively than the private sector?

3) There is good and there is evil, and it is quantifiable. (I.e. 9/11 was Evil; marriage between man and a woman is good) So just because it feels good does not mean you can do it.

4) America is the greatest country on God's green earth. But we are not perfect. But no country is more willing to fight for the little guy than the USA. So if you don't like what we are doing fight for what you think is right, but just because you don't agree with someone, does not make them stupid.

5) Separation of church and state does not mean there is no god in government. (The 10 commandments on the courtroom wall is not an infringement on your rights)

6) Government is for the people, by the people and of the people. Government is not greater than its people.

It is easy to cast aspersions, but truth be told most people are not bad, most people want to help. Where we disagree is how to go about giving that help. So we are the same, so those of you casting stones, be careful of your glass house.

Well, as a single, working mother of two who happens to vote republican, I would have to say family (moral) values, but also I value my freedom here in this country. My biggest problem with the so-called "liberal Democrats" and the ACLU is that they want to take away my rights and what is important to me in the name of protecting someone else's rights. Since when did the rights of one person override the rights of the many?? As an American citizen, I have the right to raise my children in a safe, loving home, protected from those I feel are morally corrupt. If that violates someone else's rights-too bad. I also feel that the "liberal Democrats" are too quick to defend those who would choose to not be productive citizens in this country. Get a job and pay taxes like everyone else. That is what I value as a republican, not money, like someone said.

Money, and the god given right not to pay taxes on the earnings.

And how 'republican' is Rudy? Who knows or cares! He's a lost cause and the worst possible candidate for the job.

Power and Wealth

and the Democrats are close

Consider becoming a Libertarian

Barry Goldwater was a Republican but a Libertarian by heart but the Libertarians have their ideas co-opted by the Republicans and Democrats.

Rudy is a fiscal conservative..."republican enough". His daughter apparently has a way to rebel that most of us never get to enjoy :)

As far as what this republican values most...freedom from an oppressive government.

Wealth. Nothing else matters to them but money. Wait I take that back, they value imposing their beliefs on everybody else such as pro life. But after the baby is born to hell with it. For example, No Child Left Behind and CHIP.

I value the freedom of my country and keeping it from becoming a slave driven economy as the socialist want. I value education and I mourn the fact that kids are not getting one anymore.
