My first name is after my dad. My middle name is after no one or nothing.
I almost was though. I was almost named after my two grandfathers. Get this....Cecil Sloan! Lord! Thank goodness for a change of heart. lol

I was named after my grandmother on my Mom's side. She passed away at just 27 years old (my Mom was only 7). So of course, the first female grandchild - ME, would have to have her name.

I was named after my mother's OB/GYN at the last minute. I always wondered how Dad felt about that. Anyway, it's a good thing - otherwise the plan was to name me Ricky.

My mother put her best friend Rayna and my grandmothers middle name jean together and made my name Rejeana. Very uniques spelling and my name means Queen, that which I am, oh ya and my middle name is after my Great Grandmother.

Not sure about my first name, but my middle name is after my mother. Guess what, I HATE IT> never use it. To be honest not sure I like my first name either, but it is better than my middle name.

My mom wanted to name me for she and her mother....Thank God my 11 year old brother was thinking no, anything but Thelma! He chose my name from a soap opera that my mom watched. Way to go bro!
