Most of the vista software issues I have run into concern drivers. Vista comes preloaded with a bunch of drivers, but not all of them, so you may have to tinker around on the net to find vista drivers for certain programs. I would suggest going to the software sites, looking under downloads/support/drivers, and seeing if there is a vista fix. This is a pretty common probelm, but usually can be fixed fairly easily. If all else fails, try a reinstall of windows, or try to find alternate software to use.

Also, 64 bit windows is a bit of a bear. Most all of the software out there is 32 bit, so it won't run on a 64-bit system. It might be best to switch to a 32-bit version of windows.

Hope this helps!

yes u do not install x64 bit windows. its for developers. u get those errors b/c sum 32 bit programs cannot run on a 64 bit OS. reinstall a 32 bit os like vista ultimate 32 bit version. no 1 but developers should be using a 64 bit OS, there are way 2 many problems.

i really dont know y ppl believe b/c they have a 64 bit cpu they need to install a 64 bit OS.
