How much would you or did you pay for your Laptop?

where is the best place to buy one??
i was thinking like circuit city or best buy.

I paid about $1400. It is a Dell Inspirion. I did option it out though. You can get them cheaper.

if your a student apple store is a good place. if your wont a Mac. if you wont a PC buy throw Dell. it better then try to get a a local retailer. and you can save some money most time.. do not spend more the $800 and make sure it a not Intel Celoron or AMDTuron processor there are to slow and fall apart to fast. if you are looking or hi speed look in to intel zeon there one of the best on the market.. but there are very prices. Good luck.

I paid only $500 at Circuit City for mine. I couldn't afford an expensive one.

Frys Elctronics is one of the best places. Or even the Dell website. I am getting a dell for a little over 1,000 with al the necessary things such as microsoft, cd/dvd burner etc

I got one from a guy for $400. worked for about a week then went to the trash.
buy a brand new one! best buy has great ones

My advice - buy it at Circuit City, Best Buy is WAY too much. Anyway...

I paid $2,500 for mine, which is way too much. $1,500 is a reasonable price for one for a college kid.

$1660. Try best Buy. Don't act embarassed that you can't afford much. Not everyone's a success story and if you're not,well,there's always Best Buy.

my plan is not to pay more than 600 usa.
most if not all come with the 32 bit Vista.
Have to purchase 64 bit Vista separate.

mine cost about $900 but in the end i had to pay $1,100
i bought it in best buy and it works great (i have HP)
