My best friend lives in Cuba and it's a nightmare. He's a medical doctor and only makes $20.00 USD a month. He has to scramble in any type of work extra to provide for his family. Yes, he gets an allotment of food but it's not enough to feed him or his family. Yes, they get free medical. It's not enough to make life worth living. In general the Cuban people are very unhappy. the people are hoping that once Castro dies things become better with open negotiations between Cuba and the united states.

That is a personal opinion, and not a very good one if you ask me. I have never been to Cuba but i would not assume that it was 100 X better then any other country when people die every year trying to get to America on a makeshift raft.
Communism is not a good thing and living i would not choose to live in one and thank god that i was born an American.

It's their cigars man! You can't get 'em anywhere else on Earth--at least not legally! Too bad the people of Cuba aren't aware of how great their country is--they seem to keep washing up on the coast of Florida for some reason!
