While it is normal, it certainly isn't a question for the history category in the way you have asked it. From a historical perspective women have always viewed such materials when they have the chance to do so.

A survey would probably show that fewer females enjoy porn than do males. But I've known quite a few women who like it, and it is popular with lesbians. As for it being normal, it's not freakish, if that's what you mean.

Sure it is....
Girls have always looked at soft porn in their girls magazines, guys naked from the waist up, underwear ads...etc.
I don't see any problem moving on to the real stuff....
It goes along with the tatoos, piercings, rude behaviour...
just like guys. That's what she wants to be, yes?

Of course it is. Girls star in porn movies so obviously some of them watch it. It's just a stereotype that only guys watch it.

I guess that depends upon your definition of "normal.":
I would also guess that your friend has a very empty life with a lot of down time and finds that voyeurism fills the void.
(Personally I think it's sad that someone can't find anything more worthwhile to do with their time when there is so much that needs to be done in the world.)
