YA is open to all ages to veiw and participate in. There are avatars that have acual pornagraphic images in them and can be viewed by minors. Do you think that the people who havd porn as an avatar should face criminal charges?

I don't know what the legalities are involving this but I do think it shows a lack of responsibility on the part of those who post such material. At a minimum, they should be suspended/deleted and or required to pay for their pornographic postings. Even as an adult I have no interest in seeing that garbage.

Not "criminal charges" but maybe they can be notified or have their account frozen for a certain period of time.
On the other hand; there are also subjects and even jokes on Y!A which are not quite appropriate and they can also be seen by minors.
Anyways; I thought Y!A was 13+........

Someone should be charged but like I've said they will probably get Yahoo and then they will shut this site down if they can't figure out a way to control it.

Yes, if they solicit minors. There is no way to ban them without filing criminal charges. It may seem extreme, but they are repeat offenders. This needs to stop.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. Yahoo! has the IP address of the users. They could report them to law enforcement if they wanted to.

I think they should be reported, or their questions not answered by anyone, maybe they will get the message.
