Man, you liberals ***** about everything President Bush does and you don't even have your facts straight!
We went into Iraq because the weapons inspectors were denied access to certain areas. They did this time after time and they were given warning after warning. We saw satellite photos of trucks taking something out of the country.
The Democrats saw the same intel President Bush did. They voted for the war as well. Yes, including that filthy rotten liar Kerry who changed his story midstream.
Bush never claimed Saddam had anything to do with 9/11.
And we have stolen 0 gallons of oil.
And no, President Bush it not the reason gas is so high. Thank your democratic buddies for not allowing us to build more refineries, and then gas would be more readily available. There’s plenty of cheap gas out there, but it’s the refining that causes a large jump in price.
Man, get your facts straight before you spread your hate

Omit the word cheap gas. And yes, I know you have to refine crude oil to make gas.

Everything you said was very accurate, including the trucks seen via satillite and the weapons inspectors being denied access (and one of the people who answered this question asked "then why don't we attack the country we moved them too?" - first of all its sad you don't know the country, and secondly, if you don't know the answer to that obvious question you shouldn't be discussing politics).
To answer you're question..."How come the Democrats don't want the truth about the Iraq war?"
They all have heard the truth, they all know the truth, but they just want power. They want the presidency and they actually WANT us to fail in iraq so that it can better the chances of a democratic president being elected in '08. they are rooting against their own country and against their own president so that they can gain power - yet they still have the nerve to call themselves americans. That is why they don't want the truth.

Get your facts straight. UN weopons inspectors were continuing with their work and were gaining access to more and more sites on a daily basis. They recommended they be allowed to continue their jobs because they were successful.
Yes, everyone saw pictures of trucks. Bush and his government then lied about what was on those trucks, using intelligence they knew to be faulty. I think the dems were quite stupid to vote for the war but I guess back then they thought Bush was at least somewhat honest (or Powell seemed so anyway).
While there is no evidence of Bush suggesting a link between Iraq and 9/11 before the start of the war (there is after) Cheney on several occasions did make this link. As he effectively works for Bush and was in no way reprimanded for making these claims, it is fair to say the Bush administration used 9/11 as an excuse to invade Iraq.
New refineries have nothing to do with the price of a barrel of oil, how exactly do you think they make gasoline, by buying some miraculous product known as 'cheap gas'?
If you want to talk about facts, you should probably learn a few first.

If it was about the weapons inspectors, why did Hans Blix say they had the access they needed, and found nothing? If it was about the trucks, isn't that a pretty flimsy reason to go to war? The Democrats saw the intel that Bush and his handlers wanted them to see, the intel which is now pretty well established as being cherry-picked and manipulated. Bush may never have come out and said that Saddam was involved in 9/11, but his statements made it clear that was what he was implying.
Now, get your facts straight and stop spreading your hate.

I love how all the democrats can say is just biassed and untrue. Give some facts! One democrat gave facts but they were biased and probably untrue there to. And don't just say Bush is a communist like I read in a similar question. You are just spreading stupid things. I completely agree with this question.

"We went into Iraq because the weapons inspectors were denied access to certain areas."
Who's weapons inspectors? You mean the UN weapon inspectors? Since when did the UN dictate what the US does? If Saddam was denying UN weapons inspectors access, then that is a problem for the UN to take care of....agree?

Uhh..last time I checked Hans Blix asked for a few more months, and Saddam agreed to let him in. Bush told them to get out of Iraq because we are comming to disarm him, but he was already disarmed.

Sadaam was under STRICT U.N. sanctions from the wrong doings in the first Gulf War.. He had his chance, but would not comply.. Most of the kids on here were in diapers when this happened and are repeating Bush Bashing from others.

Who is the one full of hate?
Why does everyone keep bringing up Kerry? Oh, that's right. Instead of learning new stuff and kepping up with the times, conservatives like to just throw around the same old information.
In the end who cares why we went to war? The question is what do we do now? Something conservatives can't grasp.
