With all the weird things going on in my relationship, I suspect my husband of having an affair. Do men intentionally try and make their wives think they are messing around to make her insecure. Or do they play games hoping she will get fed up and leave on her own so he won't feel like the bad guy. Sometimes I think my man tries to purposely want me to be jealous but then he turns around and get agitated if I act suspicious of him. Just when I'm starting to feel comfortable with him again he'll start the cycle all over again.

Sounds like a control freak playing games with your head..

unless you find more evidence, I doubt he is actually cheating..

Up to you on how much you put up with-- or when you call him on it...

Keep your eyes open, most of the time if you suspect someone cheating they are, but not always so get the proof. If he is playing games, that is a dangerous game. I don't think anyone in their right mind would ACT like they are having an affair. If its a game he need to grow up.

Sorry, I don't think anyone can give you a solid answer on what goes on in your husband's head as to why he is playing games with you. There is obviously something very wrong (maturity, insecurity?). I would hope that you could confront him with it directly and get a straight answer. If not, then that is the real issue. Good luck!

He wants attention and most likely he is trying to send you a message that he can get good sex elsewhere if you don't pony up.

He will try a whole gamut of techniques to get you to have more/better sex. If these don't work, he will most likely leave you or sleep around. Sex for guys is like a job to women. If it doesn't provide the lifestyle they want, it will destroy the relationship.

It could be all of those things, Stella. Why don't you try a temporary separation so you can sort your feelings out and regain your perspective? From the sound of it, a brief separation might be good for him as well.
