Neo-cons are false conservatives.

Conservatives believe in limited government and foreign affairs, strict constitutional interpretation, state and local government ahead of federal government, balanced budgets, religious freedom.

Neo-cons believe in large government and aggessive foreign affairs, Constitution is what you make it, Federal Gov first, deficit spending with wealthy tax cuts, and evangelical christians only. No jews or catholics need apply.

Hmmm...'neo-cons'...trump the U.S. Constitution. Let's play that game, shall we? How do you explain Constitution hugging liberals who actively repress:

The right to life - Declaration, I know, but it's from this one inalienable right that all rights are derived.
The right to bear arms.
Freedom of religion by oppressing people of faith at every opportunity.
Freedom of speech - forget McCain-Feingold, they're trying to shut down conservative talk radio and any other media outlet that doesn't tow the liberal party line simply because they're upset no one is buying enough of their koolade to support Air America. If you can't compete in the arena of ideas? Shut down the opposition.

These are some biggies! Show me what you've got there Moonbeam. Show me the rights 'neo-cons' have used 'fear' to trump. Terrorism? Yeah, that's not real. Just ask Great Britain, Spain, Italy, France, Russia, Denmark, Egypt, the Philipines and the people of New York. It's a myth cooked up by 'BushCo', right?

LOL, progressives, gotta love those shallow little buggers.

you walk around i'll say the bronx with an idea to kill or be prepared to defend yourself from all the poor people, doesn't seem like the behaviour of a person who is unafraid, nor even brave.

as think that to be courageous you must be afraid but then triumph over the outside force. For if one was not afraid what bravery would it take to do things. You could be stupid and think snakes are cute and play with them. This is not brave, it is stupid. You must understand and respect what a thing can do to you to bravely face it.

Do you want a real answer or just one that agrees with you ?

I'll give you a real answer and you can dispose of it if you like .

'Why do neo-cons speak so bravely. . .... ' -- Free Speech , you do like free speech doncha ? Or does it have to agree with your stance ?
.............'simply to allow fear to trump the U.S. Constitution' -- Conjecture and biased again .

I'm biased too , but I'm wondering if you realize that you are as well .

BTW - Your definition of neo-con is seriously lacking . Try another source and see if it has the same definition . I'll betcha it doesn't !!

And why can't people like yourself The U.S. Constitution is designed to protect and grant freedoms to citizens of the United States. One way to do this is to find and destroy those who mean to do us harm. Anyone whom is plotting to do harm to this country or our it's law abiding citizens should not be afforded the protections provided by The Constitution

Fear is one of those horrible manipulative and motivating factors. People are so willing to be afraid and led by the nose with it. It has been a great tool for this administration.
