Okay, I'm going to play GM and build my own team. I want to know you guys opinion on how I build a team. Check this out:
KING'S TEAM:
SG: Joe Johnson (10th in scoring for 07, 25.0 ppg)
PG: Deron Williams (2nd in assist for 07 season, 9.3 apg)
SF: Shawn Marion (a SF that could average a double double season, points & rebounds)
PF: Ben Wallace (6'9, very strong, and brings defensive energy)
C: Yao Ming (11th in scoring 07 season, 25.0 ppg and also averaged 9.4 rpg)
RESERVES: Caron Butler, Marcus Camby, Raja Bell, Derek Fisher, Zydrunas, Illgauskas, Jason Kapono, Eric Snow, Damen Jones, Kwame Brown
Coach: Larry Brown and his coaching staff:
Do you think they'll win a championship if this was a real team? If so how many and could they beat the Spurs?
I think this team would be a DYNASTY!

Big E,
I'm trying to build a realistic team. That team you build is an ALL-STAR team. Of course that team would win.

Phillip,
STEVE NASH SUCKS! Go back and check Nash's stats before he joined The Suns! Nash's numbers is the one that got better! Marion on the other hand was an ALL-STAR, averaged a double double season, and put up a 20 ppg season waaay before Nash came along.
SHAWN MARION IS HIS OWN STAR!
STEVE NASH SUCKS AND HE'S OVERRATED!

B-NUT,
what true superstar did The Pistons have when they won a championship?
SG: Rip Hamilton
PG: Chauncey Billups
SF: Tayshaun Prince
PF: Rasheed Wallace
C: Ben Wallace
Now that team won a championship and took The Spurs to 7 games. So what are you talking about? My starting 5 is better then that & my BENCH is better then The Pistons bench of 04.
MY TEAM IS A DYNASTY!

KING's Team always win...Kobe Sucks!!!!!!
KING I am done with the NBA, onto College Football
and USC Trojans....
Man I would give up on Kobe fans, they are all bunch of
losers. They are addicted to losing, let them suffer
in their own ignorance....
Michael Jordan was the GREATEST!!!!!

It pains me to say so because I don't like the Spurs, but I don't think that team could beat them. Williams is young and unproven, Marion and Wallace are two of the more overrated players in the game (take Marion away from Steve Nash and see how his numbers stack up), and on top of that most of those guys don't play Larry Brown style of ball. Here's my team:
PG: Steve Nash
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Lebron James
PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Tim Duncan
Bench: Jason Kidd, Ray Allen, Ron Artest, Joe Johnson, Gilbert Arenas, Yao Ming, Dwayne Wade, Chauncy Billups, Vince Carter, Kevin Garnett
Coach: Phil Jackson
That, my friend, is a dynasty!!!!!!!!

Yea a dynasty of the losing type.
No true superstar,
Joe averages 25.0 game for the HAWKS!
Williams plays in UTAH were passing is the way of life!
Marion, solid player, Wallace, solid roll player.... when all the other peices are place.
Yao.7ft tall and no heart at all.
The bench would be good if the starters were a great starting 5. They could compete with but not beat the Spurs at all.

I don't know who would take the big shot ala Kobe, Lebron, etc. Better team in my opinion:
PG Baron Davis
SG Lebron James
SF Shawn Marion
PG Kevin Garnett
C Dwight Howard
reserves:
Richard Jefferson, Ray Allen, Leandro Barbosa, Ben Wallace, Boris Diaw, Manu Ginobilli, Antonio McDyess, Marcus Camby & Smush Parker
Coach: Phil Jackson

I think this would be a good team. I don't know how the chemistry would be but it looks as if it would work. A little question on Kapono and Jones. Also Camby's attitude but other than that looks good and they definitely could win a championship. They could beat the Spurs but not every time.
You just might have a little issue with all of the high priced players.lol

be real put marcus camby as a starter instead of ben wallace and its really good as of the starters and the reserves are an above average bench but it will not win a champsionship based on chemistry you have three rebounders starting a shooter and a passer not going to work

You should trade yao and joe johnson for kobe, then you'd definitely win every game, every championship, every award, even soccer and baseball games.
