My name is Amaltheia .... I've never hated it for being odd, and I've never really been teased for it (a few guys I know gave me the nickname Malthie, which I hate, but I don't think it's really teasing)

Ever since my childhood when I enjoyed reading Greek mythology, I have found the name Amalthea very beautiful. I like it spelled Amaltheia and I wouldn't say it's hard to pronounce.
I like the story of the nymph who was a foster mother for the one who would become the king of gods. BTW, my name is also the name of a Greek nymph - one of Zeus's lovers.

I think it's cool. But kinda hard to pronounce.
All Greek or anciant latin/romain names are cool because they are rare.
Whichmakes them unique.
Cuz most of them come from words.
That's why they have meanings.
