Roger Waters - HANDS down...

Can you say "The Dark Side of the Moon" and "The Wall" - good, I knew you could ;);););)

I would say David Gilmour, but personally, I always loved the band in the early progressive years when all four members had a balance in contributiions. I think Waters was a lyrical genius, but his ego really did take over too much. The Wall just didn't hit me the say way as their other stuff, and Gilmour was the one who made the Floyd sound with his guitar.

The old Waters/Gilmour debate...

Waters was much more important to the band, but I love Gilmour's voice, guitar, and early work. The later work kind of sounds ripped off from earlier albums.

Waters I'll say for now.
