The high school that I am going to is hosting a picnic for the magnet program students and, being a freshman, I want to make a good first impression. I don't want to stand out; I just want to look decent. Can you help me with suggestions as to what I should wear? Please no skirts, tank tops, and the like. I'm a reserved, quiet person.

1] capris or bermuda shorts, or not-too-short shorts
2] shoes you can run in [ might have games or exercises ]
3] a fitted T [ womans ] in your best bright color.
4] hair up, braided, or banded

You don't have to dress to impress...most ppl don't care what you wear...just the personality that you have...if you feel comfortable in your own skin then just wear a shirt and shorts...that's what i do and i had a great time just hanging out with my friends....but a cute top and some jean capris with flats should do...

Okay. I would maybe wear jeans or capris, with a cute shirt. If you don't want to stand out don't wear yellow, pink, red, or any warm colors. Wear like purple, black, or navy blue. A navy blue shirt w/ light colored capris would look really cute. Consider wearing flip flops or wedges with your capris. Hope this helps.

A nice sundress is always good.... =) With cute flats, and a long pendent necklace. And maybe a bracelet?
Or.. you could just wear jeans, and a nice halter top? Or..shirt with a cute saying on it. Again.. jewelry is always a good thing.

Hmm..I'd say a babydoll top, with some cute capris, flats (or maybe flip flops), and some fun beads that match the top. Voila! Cute & comfy, yet sophisticated. =)
