Turn it in to the police and hope for a nice reward.
It's the right thing to do.

You are saying a million right, I don't see any decimal marks??? I know for a fact that I'd never find that much cash. The most I've ever found was $70.00... I kept it. I would keep it, if no one reported it missing & I didn't get arrested for passing counterfiet money & I didn't get targeted by the mob or a drug dealer, I would slowly begin putting it in my stock portfolio, so I'd gain the maximum amnt. of retirement. Most people don't have a retirement idea... um CLUE, is what I really mean. Seriously people, start now while you're young & won't miss a few dollars here & there. Social Security is not going to save you!!! So, my answer is yes, I'd keep it.

first, find out if there were any bank robberies in the area, and if there is a reward. there is a very good chance the money is marked, and if that's the case, every time u buy somthing w/ it, u r adding another felony charge 2 ur resume'.

if i can't find any, then i would sit on it for a few months, then check again. if still nothing, then i would leave the country to spend it.

That is a good question, I would lay low for a few months, and not say anything to anyone about it. Eventually I would Funnel some of it through some casino's. Drive out of town and use some of it there. Pay some bills things of that nature. Nothing too extravagant for fear it was a drug deal gone bad....lol

Turn it in to the police and if nobody claims it then it is yours after so many days in most places. Or it uses to be that way.

First thing I'd do is wonder how the hell I'm gonna move $1,000,000 cash without anyone noticing... even in $100 bills it'd still weigh about 150 lbs

i'd hold onto it and watch the news to see where it may have come from. if it was legit, it would be on the news somewhere. (i tell myself this)

if no mention of it was made ,i would assume it was 'dirty money' ,and not feel bad for the ppl it went missing from.

To ease my guilty conscience, i would donate a goodly amount (but not all ;) to charity.

Been there and done that, and the owner of the money gave me a thousand bucks for my honesty. I donated the thousand to ten different charities - a hundred bucks each.

If nobody was around then I am not going to tell anyone and spend it on myself
