Yesterday I woke up and found that water war shooting out of a sprinkler line and flooding my yard.

I shut off the main water valve and inspected the area, finding a few holes in the line. I went to Home Depot to buy a patch, came back, turned on the water to make sure I'd be patching the right section, and...nothing.

I turned on the system to full pressure, and still nothing. The entire system works fine, and there isn't a leak in sight.

What's up with that?

If you found holes during the inspection, they are still there so replace the section of pipe. Sorry, but leaks don't heal (at least not permanently)

Like Sheley says. bypass with a basic oscillating sprinkler, stable on the grounds that's a backyard gadget, not a toy, and you are able to later use it for the backyard. At 2, i might stay away from a slip'n'slide: too possibly to reason an twist of fate. As for the child pool, except it is extremely person-friendly to empty, i does not placed it up, not for a 2 year old. except you're observing continuously, too person-friendly to drown in in simple terms a sprint water if she looses her footing. If she's extremely 'loving the pool', I think of you recommend a public pool? while you're close to adequate to take her, save doing that, as you're in simple terms there for a 'bypass to', it is extra handy to maintain an eye fixed on her and not get distracted or attempt to do 'in simple terms one' little element interior the domicile. If she likes to play with water, get her a dishpan or a low-sided plastic field and placed some water in, and he or she will play with toys in that. She's little adequate that pouring stuff from a cup (or something with little holes to sprinkle the water) is probable thrill adequate. in case you get a 2nd field and a few clean sand, she will have a mini-sandbox and combine the sand and water, besides. In a pair of years while she'll be safer in a her very own pool, attempt putting sandbags or luggage of dirt under the pool to point it out.

maybe when you turned off the system dirt clogged the holes and after being on for a while it will unclog from the pressure.
