Yes. My mom died a few months ago, my dad last year and my maternal grandmother (the only grandparent I had left) the year before that.

I think it's somehow made me stronger not having any family left. But I often feel lonely, even though there are people around. In all honesty I feel like an orphan. Even though I'm grown and have children of my own . . .

I did in High School. Everything about me changed and my whole outlook on life changed. Whenever I feel my life getting out of control I try to take a breath and remember what I learned from that experience.

I think in a way, ever day is a life changing experience. Obviously there are times where you change dramatically, but sometimes very simple everyday things can change you too, sometimes without noticing.
There are really too many times for me even to mention.

I've had more than one, three deaths of my immediate family within two and a half years. Also distanced me from my only grand daughter who was one month old at the time of my only sons death. I can't see how any of it was for the better. I don't try to rationalize it only deal with it which some days is quite hard.

Yeah -- when my parents divorced, my life changed majorly. my dad moved out and I spent my time split between my mom's and dad's house. my mom had to move out of our house and get a new one because it was really expensive for a single mom to handle and she couldnt drive me or my brother to school anymore, so it was up to us to get rides. then my dad got a girlfriend and my life changed even more...sometimes i wish they never got divorced but then the other half of the time i figure almost everyone else has divorced parents and im not the only one. it's not that bad...but it used to be.

Losing my mother in law. She was more of a mother to me than my own ever was.
She was the glue that held the family together, so now that she is gone everyone has kind of gone their own way. There are a few of us that try to keep us all together & I will always keep trying.
