I've been reading more comments from the liberal side that say we are not doing enough in this war, we need to invade another country as well, or are backing Obama's comments about continuing the war.
Will the Democrats, if elected to office, escalate this war as they did in Vietnam?

It's funny how fast people forget about the negative things their party does. Gotta love party line politics.

I seem to remember Hillary wanting to go to war in Iraq just as badly as the rest of the neo-cons in office. Or maybe I'm just in reality...

Why would the party against the Iraq war escalate our involvement in it?

If we were to send in more troops, it would only be so we could withdraw all our forces faster and with a minimum loss of life.

Anything is possible. It would be quite a departure from the platform on which they were elected, though, and I doubt that the people who elected them based on their empty promises about ending the war will be happy about it.

I'm wondering that myself. I remember Johnson's famous worlds, "We WILL win this war!". What a disaster that ended up being.
