I have had heat exhaustion multiple times, unfortunately, and you're describing all the symptoms. The key is that he isn't sweating, and his skin feels cool to the touch. Heat exhaustion can make you very nauseous, which can lead to vomiting and diarrhea. Agitation can be a sign of heat stroke (which is very serious and requires immediate medical attention), but it may also be that he is frustrated with being ill. Hard for me to say without knowing him. He needs to stay in a cool place for the next few days. I recommend he stay home from work, if possible, to give his body time to readjust. If he's still not cooling off, you can have him take a WARM shower or bath. Not hot, and not cold; that can shock your system. If he gets worse, continues vomiting, and can't eat or drink anything, you will need to take him to the ER so they can get some fluids in him. Otherwise, have him take small and frequent sips of water, ginger ale, juice, gatorade, anything he can keep down. Make sure he rests. The symptoms can last (to a lesser degree) for several days, but eventually they will subside.
