No! When I was in high school I had to volunteer at this convinience store to raise money for a trip to Barcelona, and you would be surprised at how many people throw a dollar at you and leave. Its so rude, and that is the reason Im getting my education now, so that I would never be a cashier ever again. UGHHH,,, you just reminded me of those ppl and Im frustrated now.

Oh that drives me crazy when I see people do that. I have a niece who is mentally challenged and she has a bad habit of it. If she is with me I always have to remind her to hand the cashier the money. Even if I have my bills laying on the counter while I'm looking for change, always pick them back up and hand them to the cashier.

No... that's very rude...

Did u know that in my culture... when we want to hand something to someone else... we have to use both our hands... kinda like when u present something to someone... otherwise its considered as extremely rude!

I must admit that sometimes I don't present stuff with both hands... but I sure don't throw or toss the money to the cashier :D

No, that's rude as h*ll. I used to be a cashier at a few different spots - if you throw your money at a cashier, you'll be picking your change up off the floor.

Never, that's rude . If a cashier ever handed me my change back by throwing it at me...they would have a serious problem on their hands.

No, but as a cashier, I've had money thrown at me...
It really got me when they'd throw it down on the moving conveyor belt and I'd have to scramble after it before it went into the great beyond. . .

People are jerks....

NeVER!! That would be so rude! I know in Europe you place your money on a tray. .. but here you hand the money to them directly in their palms.
Cashiers are people too..why would someone throw money at them ?

No, but there's a cashier in this little Mexican market in San Clemente who throws your change up in the air.
I love that guy.
