When I was younger... I liked Mr. T so much that I got the scissors out and cut my hair like his.... it did not turn out well... so my mom bought me fake gold chains so I could wear them to school..... yeah, this is a true story... sad huh?

2 days after i experimented wit my hair i still had loose hairs falling out of my head wen i shook it. lol

I have trimmed my hair, but never actually gave myself a full haircut... One time I let my daughter cut my hair - oh my! what a mess! I went to a beautician, who lifted up the back and about went into hysterics. haha... Had to cut it real short, then, but now it's down to my rear end again. :-)
I would say what a nice thing your mom did (and it was, really), but I sometimes have a hard time saying something nice about someone I don't have a high opinion of... I am VERY protective of people I consider friends. bbjo.

yes, i always had a bad habit of cutting my bangs. they were never straight. then as i got older i experimented w/hair dye. i tried dying my hair a redish color (that i had done so many times before) but it turned out purple. the sad part is, it was only an hour before my grandmother's viewing. yes, true story. i didn't have time to change it. i was 23 was what was even sadder. i should have known better.

I gave myself a really bad one when I was a kid... my hair was long, and my mom had to cut it really short to fix it... I cried.
I've cut my own hair as an adult too. Sometimes it works out ok, sometimes it doesn't. I only do that when I'm so dead broke I can't spend the money on someone else doing it... and it absolutely has to be done.

My sister cut her own bangs when she was about 7 or 8. It was so uneven and she kept cutting to try to straighten it out before mom found out. Before she was finished all of her bangs were completely gone (except for the little stubble of course)!

When I was a kid, I didn't like my bangs so I cut them off. My son found my razor 2 weeks before we went to Disney World and had a nice shaved spot on the top of his head. It made some lovely vacation pics.

when i was grade 7..
i want to have bangs but my mom wont let me(i dont know for what reason..) so i give my self my own haircut.. and what you would expect?? of course i looked silly aftewards... LOL
maybe i'll just stick in cutting papers rather than hair.... :)

When i wa four i cut my bangs off! I thought it looked great , but seeing pics now i see the pointy hair sticking up!!!

Yes.from the front it looked cool I thought.However I was soon informed a few uneven streaks in the back was not cool.Had a few beers that day.

That was very sweet of your mom.
Luckily, I never cut my own hair, but my sister did....it didn't turn out as well as she thought it might.
