I have to say Jennifer Aniston... Her looks and talents are average, at best. If it wasn't for her fame in "Friends", nobody would give her a second look.

Drew Barrymore. Although I enjoy some of her movies, her overall performances get on my nerves. She has a weird lisp that I can't get used to...and the tone of her voice makes her seem very childlike.

Why only one? there are so many who portray airhead roles exclusively, and I am not naming names. Its enough to say that they are the ones in the news trying to reclaim some fame by rehab .
Dingbats, giggly, looking like they wore make up/ mascara 24 hrs a day. Give me a break. The reason why Aniston rated so highly was because she didnt look as silly, can at least act and was respectable.
Some actresses are gifted actresses, some are good with moments of brilliance (depends on the roles) and some just take up space in the front page news.
What defines their staying power is their capacity to make money through films.
Many would tell you, who cares if A Jolie is not as great an actress as Meryl Streep? and Hale Berry is she believable in her roles? and can she act? Their films all make money. Nicole is a good actress and her films make money too.
Someone should write up a TV show "So you think you can act". I will watch it.

I agree with you. Friends was her claim to fame. As far as the most over rated I would say Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie. I find movies that they are in rather boring....

Everyone in Hollywood is over rated.They are all so full of themselves.They have like 30 award ceremonies a year for themselves.I don't remember the Truck driver awards or the Retail Worker awards,do you?

They're all overrated. If everyone was famous, we would all want to be not famous.
People like actors and actresses because other people like them.
It's true many people who can't act worth beans are in the business. I guess one just needs to be rich and or hot and one can do whatever one wants.

Angelina Jolie. Sure she is pretty but I don't think she is much of an actress. I think people forget she can't act since she is so pretty.
