I do not know about the cabinet but Bush has daughters. I do not think females should be forced to serve in the military. They can volunteer if they wish but if they did it would be like signing their own death warrant, as the terrorists would most likely single them out. So, your proposal is rife with problems.
And, I have never heard of a parent sending a grown adult child to war. That is for them to decide. Both you and I know it.

Oh please. Are you aware that you are more likely to be killed by a drunk driver or an illegal immigrant than our soldiers are to be killed in Iraq? Probably not. Well, here are some figures for you. Although this link was published lat November, and the death count is higher for our soldiers now. they still don't compare to how many are brutally murdered each year by illegal aliens.

If this isn't enough, then I'm sure you can do your own research on drunk driving. All of which are unnecessary causes of death.

Because their grown children are adults and may decide for themselves whether or not they serve in the military.

Just because someone supports something doesn't mean they have to participate in that activity. I may support the right for homosexuals to have marriages, but that doesn't mean I have to marry a man, does it?

G-Man last time I looked we have an all volunteer army. The people in the military want to be there and they are defending your right to speak your mind.

Because they're grown children, aka adults. If their kids want to join the war effort they can, but if they don't want to, they don't have to.
