At my school it was a razor cut so it's kind of the modern messy look and some color. Throw some high lights in it. Make it shape you face. Your hair should accent what people see first. Your eyes, nose and shape of your mouth. Mine is a punk not really emo cut. People love it because it's not what everyone else has. Not knowing what you look like I can't suggest really. But I do cuts and colors more for the teenage edge cuts. But you can write me and I can direct you to more choices based on what you are into and what you want to go for. Hope to help. Charlie.
