Pride/vanity, because if you're prideful you're more likely to try and justify things like envy, greed, lust, and sloth.

These are deadly sins and that means if someone pursues these, it will eat them up, destroy them. Anger uncontrolled will make a person unable to see reason. Greed will want what belongs to someone else. All the rest are extremes, not the occasional thing you're putting here. Sloth is a refusal to do your share, to keep up, to go to work or keep your place tidy, pride is that arrogant strutting which we see sometimes that makes everyone else feel like ****. In other words, it's hurtful. Lust will consume a person if it ever is allowed to get out of hand. A few moments of sex is not what's meant here. Envy is far worse than jealousy, you can look this up. Envy actually wants to remove what someone has for yourself. Gluttony...well, have a look at all the 400 lb people in the USA. It looks very gross, and then compare that to the athletic build where the person can move and be helpful. All those sins are symptoms of a very self-centered person which ruins not only the person but others as well. No, God won't accept that. Those are called standards, like a speed limit. Remove the speed limit, and you get what?? More fun? Well, more blood anyway.

i porsonally dont believe in god, but a combination of Gluttony and sloth would be the worst because it can cause some seriuse health problems. lust can give you diseases [if you follow with it], anger or wrath can end up making you hurt someone as with greed you might hurt some one so all in all the worst would be the combo of gluttony and sloth. Vanity/pride and envy arnet that bad .

I am not superstitious or religious, so, leaving aside the 'god' stuff... anger is obviously the worst of these

vanity /pride /gluttony / greed /sloth /envy are all about personal problems and dont usually affect other people.

lust is a good thing, as long as you can control it

anger can, too easily, involve other people

Greed ... by far the worst.
Pride, envy, anger, and lust are all part of our nature ... they don't necessarily harm anyone else directly; we just need to master them.
Sloth and gluttony are victimless, too, although insidious and sad.
But avarice involves grabbing up more than your share -- implying grabbing up *someone else's* share. It's necessarily destructive and more purely evil than any of the others.

For no other reason than that the greatest amount of harm can come from it--pride is the worse. Pride when mixed with any of the other seven probably provides for the worse set of combinations of any of the possible sets of combinations.

When pride mixes with a lot of power and healthy amount of ignorance, the world will be damned.

Greed...because I think it is the root of all evil.

I believe it is a sense of greed which induces the other 7 deadlys.

I do not believe in god but if i had to choose one out of the seven deadly sins I would have to choose lust. That is by far the worst out of all the others!

I'm having a big problem with gluttony at present, but I'm going to weightwatchers tomorrow, so should be able to get it under control again
