Granted TX and NC southern accents are different, but what's your take on'em?

I'm from the south, so I love those southern accents, but I mainly want to comment on the other answers... all those people saying they don't have an accent, but wish they did... guess what, you do. Us southerners, don't have accents as far as we are concerned. Everyone else does. Everyone has an accent.

I've lived all over but I'm originally from the South. I love Southern accents. I don't think I have one, but have been told mine comes out only when I'm angry LOL!

Well, since I am from the south I think southern accents sound normal.

Considering the fact that I live in Alabama. I don't think anything about it. That being said, My brother's accent is very thick while mine is barely noticeable.

I love accents because it lets other people know where you're from. I especially like the one that Huckleberry Hound has...remember that cartoon? =)

I like them... they are nice... some are a little over drawn and annoying, but for the most part they aiiight!!
