Buy a car with a manual transmission. Dont bother with the Auto to Manual conversion.

The parts and labor alone are more than what the car is worth. Not to mention the computer will have to be reprogramed and other mechanical trouble. The addition of a clutch, slave cylinder, pumps, linkage, etc..

Not worth it. Just get a new car that is already a manual.

the only reason computerized transmissions flush the finished device is ti eliminate the oil from the torque converter. This oil would not drain whilst the transmission pan and clear out is opened. once you pull the plug on a conventional transmission there are no wallet, or torque converter to flush. permit a warm conventional transmission drain for an hour and replace with synthetic handbook transmission fluid. it will shift smoother and swifter in chilly climate. you would be getting optimum synchronizer, shifting fork, bearing and kit risk-free practices.

it will end up costing more money in the long run than buying one that already has manual transmission

it will cost more than the car, the job and the time it's worth. Buying a stick is easier and more econnomical.

To do it correctly counting parts and labor you would be looking at about $8,000.
