When answering people’s questions, do you typically give long answers or short ones? I know you have probably done both at one time or another – but what do you do most often. Do you find yourself writing long answers more or short answers?

I myself am a long answerer. I always have a lot to say I guess, and I always try to make sure the person understands what I mean when I write, so going into details usually helps me achieve that. Another reason I suppose is my mind does not really focus on the length, just the point I am trying to convey, so I typically write more than most. A force of habit from being an English graduate I suppose. How about you?

It depends on the question I am answering. Sometimes I feel I need a long answer to explain myself and other times I just keep it short and sweet.

I have a tendency to do both. It all depends on the question really. If it is a funny question, then my answers are short. If the question makes me think, or asks an honest opinion then I represent myself and my opinions well. I give clear examples or descriptions, and I try to explain the reasoning behind such an opinion. These types of questions, therefore, can lead to long answers.

I like the fact that you are willing to give long answers. It shows you care about your opinion being represented thoroughly and truthfully. Keep up the great work!

I liked this question. You, my friend, get a star.

i guess it just depends how long the question is and what it is asking. And it also depends on how much i feel like typing at that moment. But i give short answers the majority of the time.

I am both! I enjoy the story telling as well. Sarge and some others give sentences and you have to write a story, utilizing these sentences. Those are my long answers! LOL
