Irog, let that message provide an abject lesson to us all that every failed try brings us closer to our goal. I’m sure as toddlers we stumbled a few times when we were first learning to walk, fell flat on our face, even bumped our head in the process. Inspite of these setbacks however, with our innocent minds we didn’t know enough to quit. All for the best though – if we had the slightest thought of giving up then, we might still be crawling on the floor to this day.

I recall that even T. Edison tried thousands of times before achieving success with the light bulb. When my nephew became disheartened after failing his licensure exams a few times, I told him it didn’t matter as long as he passed it once. I told him about Edison, though I wished he wouldn’t go that far! Never quit!

(I wanted to translate it to Tagalog, but after reading Nena's elegant piece, I knew I couldn't match her eloquence. Nena is my idol now. :))

Very good quote.
I have read something similiar in the book of proverbs in the holy bible.
Through my own life experiences, mistakes, failure, trial and error is the best teacher. This is how you gain wisdom over time. You gain insight through your experiences. We all must live and learn.
Some people have to learn about life on their own. I enjoy people who can rise from a negative situation and turn it into a positive.

This is the inspiration for the song that goes "I'm afraid to fly, but I don't know why ....... Help me I'm falling, falling ...."

Let us live life the way we want to, and not excsessively worry about the consequences of just about everything. Our gut will tell us anyway if what we are up to is "bad".

I like this quote. It is indeed true that oftentimes those who are afraid to try don't make mistakes. But in turn they are the ones who don't succeed in life. So for a person to attain success, he/she should not be afraid to fail. Instead take it as a challenge for you to strive harder and reach for your star. And the more failure you have in attaining your dreams, the more you would value and appreciate your success later on.
