Yes, defiantly!!! I'm an old dog who fractured her ankle. Since I am unable to walk for 3 months, I have learned many new tricks to get around and alone!

Depends on if the dog is adept to learning tricks.. if it's lazy, probably not.. but if its still active, most likely. No guarentees
