If they can't figure out who will make a better alternative, how are they ever going to rally their base or capture swing voters? Will there strategy of a year long smear campaign against any democrat that steps foward work, or just turn the moderate minded people off like it did in the 2006 midterms?

How about Jeb Bush? Ha Ha...seriously though...do you really want Hillary or Obama? I am a Texas Republican, but even I could get behind Bill Richards, for instance. I like McCain as well, Edwards is just a poster boy, Hillary is a joke and Obama, while passionate and no doubt intelligent and informed, has 0 experience as even Hillary pointed out so pointedly during the debate. My question is, do you really think ANYONE from either party or an Independent, is going to change anything? We nead a leader, not an opinion poll whore.

If Hillary gets the Democratic nomination then it won't matter who the republicans put up since just about every one of them will vote against her. If Obama gets the nod then Ron Paul or Tancredo is going to have to be the Republican front guy to make a good show of it.

There are no real conservatives running. Thompson has a lot of skeletons which will come out. Giuliani has been married and has too may extra-marital affairs. McCain is an idiot for supporting GW's war. If the Republicans want to win, they have to put up a viable candidate. They have not done this yet

I don't think it matters. The Fred Thompson camp is really beginning to take off. And he hasn't formally entered the race yet! Once Fred get the GOP nod, the election is pretty much a lock.

Seems to me like they are doing a pretty good job attacking each other.

We don't need to attack them, they're doing a great lob of it themselves!
We're sitting back having fun watching it. No need to be in a hurry.

I would vote for a dead cat before I would vote for a Socialist like Hillary or a Muslim in denial like B. HUSSIEN Obama.
