No, He was great but did not play long enough to prove himself.

No, he will not make it. No question about it. Gale Sayers had better stats actually. Sayers still holds the record for most touchdowns by a rookie and I know you will point out that Terrell Davis had a 2,000 yard season. True, and that is a great accomplishment but Gale Sayers had less games than Terrell Davis did. If you put them both in the same era in their prime I'll bet Gale Sayers would be the better running back BY FAR!

I don't think so..
You say he compares to Gayle Sayers.. How so? Sayers was the all time rushing leader.. Where is Davis in this?
And I understand about the rings.. But, Barry Sanders doesn't have rings.. So, your saying TD is better than Barry Sanders??? You must be a BIG TIME broncos fan and so pretty good drugs too if you think TD compares to those guys...

Maybe not because of his short career. But he was an awesome runner and I'd vote for him. I know Denver has a great system for runners. Yet Terrell was something special. Elway never won a Super Bowl until Davis showed up.

Yes!!!! The man has 2 Super Bowl rings, League MVP, MVP of Super Bowl XXXII, became the 5th RB to run for over 2,000 yards, and then he have went to the pro bowl a few times. He is the best RB that the Broncos ever had.

No career was to short, plus playing for the Broncos did not help, that was Elways team. There is no way he is hall worthy, Bo Jackson was a better back that got his career ended prematurely.

I don't think he will, because not only was his career shortened, but people tend to give credit to the system in Denver and not the individual runner.
How many times have you heard "Any runner can get 1,000 yards in Denver"? It's too bad, because TD was one of the better runners of his time.

His numbers definitely warrant him to be in the HOF. His shortened career may hinder him being a first ballot inductee but for sure he will get in on the second try.

Doubtful. Except for the rings, he was just another platoon running back in the Broncos machine.

Yes. I think if his career hadn't been shortened he would have gotten in sooner, but I don think he'll get in. 2014 is my guess.
