There is a group called The Mint Julips, they are an acapella group. Saw them on a programme made by Spike Lee, years ago, can't remember what they sang but there was a great sing off between two guy groups singing Under the Boardwalk.........one of my all time favourite songs.

The flying pickets did one years ago, an acapella version of only you, .......
All I needed was the love gave
all I needed was another day ,
All I ever knew
only you
........If you are old enough to rememeber it (and you live in Britain, as I dont think it was a hit anywhere else)
All guys singing, but it is a song that can be sung by either sex.,,,Why you ask?

Depends what you mean by "almost".

What about "I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair" by Sandi Thom ? That's acapella to start with, but no reason why it couldn't be sung acapella all the way through.
