Which one is easier to use? Plastic or Cardboard. i'm just starting out using them. i'm 14 and i have never had sex. i had to use a cardboard one, being forced. but my bestfriend came down and she had plastic and i thought it was easier. what is your opinion and also does it hurt if its sented?

Use plastic. They are much smoother. Some people get irritated from scented tampons.

Plastic!! I'm 14 also and by far, plastic work the best. Cardboard pinches.

plastic!! they are soo much better!!
i love the pearl! and the slim fits they are great! also sented does not hurt, it all depends some people can get a reaction from the scent in such a sensitive area, its really up to you, but scented and unscented dont make a huge difference
def try the slim fits an use plastic you can tell a difference!

Plastic applicaters are easiest, for beginners try using Playtex SlimFits because they're smaller than the normal tampons.

Once you're used to using plastic applicaters correctly then you should be able to insert any type of tampon, cardboard or plastic with ease (:

Scented tampons are okay to use, they're no different except for they smell good when you smell them (before you insert it, of course.)

I don't really see a difference between tampons with carboard applicators and tampons with plastic applicators. Once you've figured out how to use them, you can pretty much insert any kind with ease. The ones with ridges are easier to grip, plastic ones tend to have ridges.

I recomment plastic. Cardboard is rough when you try to get it in cuz it's too dry. Plastic is more smooth and will slide in easily.

Neither. Why don't you opt for sanitary napkin instead? Tampons have been historically associated with the fatal toxic staphylococcal syndrome. So, try to avoid them, if you can.
