LT or Action Jackson?

LT has been a starter for 6 years now and has only missed one game. So if he keeps that pace up he will go down as one of the best backs ever in history. Also he is only 27 years old. He had a monster year last year. He is at the best part of his prime.

Jackson had a breakout year last year totaling more yards from scrimmage than any player in the league. Also the Rams had all types of injuries on the O-line, (Pace) so the line was mainly made of of backups. Jackson is only 24 years old. So he still has 2 years or so before he will be in the best part of his prime. Jackson will be tough his whole career. He will also be talked about as being one of the best for years to come.

This year Jackson will have a better year then LT.
LT will have better career stats in everything than Jackson, except in running over defenders! Jackson scares the crap out of defenses because he is so huge and fast at the same time.

Nobody is better than LT period.

LT will end up with way better career stats and that is not to take anything away from Stephen Jackson, he is great.

I just don't think Steven Jackson will ever last long enough to catch up or pass LT.

LT by far. Jackson is a very good running back but he is no LT. LT will go down as one of the greatest who ever played the game. Better career stats will be LT. He will brake alot more records.

After the seasons LT has had, i really dont think anybody is going to say jackson. so LT. He holds the record he will end up having better stats and make it into the hall of fame.

First of all, their names are spelled, "Steven Jackson" and "Ladainian Tomlinson." Secondly, it depends on what you judge it on. Tomlinson is a long-time veteran who has set records and just earned himself the exclusive Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award to be shard with Drew Brees. Jackson, however, is a rising talent who is making a name for himself and will be an excellent successor to Marshall Faulk, who is now a sportscaster for NFL Network. Jackson has a different running style than Tomlinson and is bigger and stronger. LT, however, is much faster and more elusive. This is a good question that I cannot directly answer.

that's up for grabs. LT is great no doubt about that. But look at the offensive weapons the rams have, which could open up the ground game and allow for Steven Jackson to have another bust out year.

When it is all said and done it is going to be LT. It will be a close one but LT is just that good.

Most people do not realize that Steven Jackson actually had MORE total yards from scrimmage (rushing and receiving) than Tomlinson had last year.
