Is it possible for anyone to be without a single sinful habit or character flaw? I guess it depends on how you define such things. I'm pretty certain nobody is perfect. It also depends on how you define successful. If you limit successful to being rich, then you really narrow the field. There are lots of other ways to be a success. However, to answer just what you've asked, I'd say that there are succesful men who are not promiscuous, addicts or child abusers. Or even cruel or criminal. I don't think Jimmy Carter, for example, has ever been shown to have such habits. Bill Gates? Not that I'm aware of. Paul Newman - married to the same woman for many, many years and not a deviant as far as I know. So, I would say the answer to your question is "yes."

I doubt if there's a single person PERIOD without a sinful habit. Pretty much everyone has some kind of character flaw. This was a predominant theme in classic literature, the hero's "tragic flaw" that was viewed as inescapable. Someone in this day and age who is rich has probably had a goal of becoming rich, which means they're far more likely to have some huge flaw such as greed or big ego, etc.

Being a gold digger is a pretty big character flaw, too.

it takes all kinds to make this world. the good the bad. there is also a mixture of both within a person. so there's a balance in all these things. we only hear of the -ve stories and the atrocities many of them do. we seldom hear of good oldfashion chaste clean stories. hence we assume that they are all like that. there is definitely within that category those who are truly honest and clean. if all of them were to commite such bad habits, chances r the world wld be in perhaps greater turmoil. there r but we may not be able to name them.

Yes, we are all imperfect, but I don't believe the prevalence of the characteristics you describe are in greater abundance in the rich and famous than any ordinary citizen on any street in America.

The act of becoming successful and/or rich does not increase one's likelihood of not succumbing to temptation or not acting out in a dysfunctional manner.

Nobody is without sin...

They don't always get caught, but we are all sinners in God's eyes. We are only human.
