I always thought he and Nina would have made a cute couple, but she, along with all the other ladies, never gave him the time of day lol.

He hasn't really left the show. He's still on recurring status but the new directing staff headed by LML has not let any of the recurrings show up in awhile. For example: Chauntal, Michael's secretary (where's she been?) Esther, Gina, Miguel and John Silva are all still on the payroll as recurring actors but we haven't seen them in awhile. John Silva did date Nina Webster and also Jill Abbott in the past. Those were the only real relationships they gave him.

I found this brief discription of John's history and love interests. I didn't even really know who he was until I googled him and found this, then I remembered a little bit. Wow! He's a bit of a hottie. And a lawyer as well. Alot of G C women could use to find a good man like him, of course, not alot of G C women DESERVE a man like him.
What ever happened to Nina anyway? Didn't she move away to "find herself" er something after Tomas left her? I think they should bring her back, or at least have her son move back, now that it has been only a few years, I am quite sure he has "graduated" college by now, and could open an interesting character storyline. Same thing with Olivia and her son. Where is he? They are all the same age....Bring them into play......( I am always so courious as to the characters that are left off to the side!)

I liked John Silva too as well as Nina. Wish they'd bring them both back. Nina's son should be coming back one of these days, all grown up and since he's Jill's grandson....or so he thinks. I wonder if they ever told him he really wasn't. Or if they even told Nina for that matter. Of course they didn't put that on the show yet.

John Silva was the best lawyer in town,and he had a heart of gold.I think it would be awesome if they brought back the character of John Silva.
