A couple of weeks ago I passed out in a store. No one could bring me around right away. I could hear everyone but they seemed far away like they were in a tunnel. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. All their tests were normal. They said that I needed to follow up with a family doctor and a cardiologist. That I should have a stress test. I have no health insurance.
The next day I felt like I was going to pass out again and my blood pressure/pulse were up.
Last Monday, I was at home and felt like I was going to pass out and it was hard to talk because of the stiffness on the left side of my face. That side of my face was twitching as well. I was fine in the ER until I had to stand up then I would almost pass out again. Again their tests were normal and after a while I was feeling fine. They said I needed to follow up with a family doctor.

Saturday, I almost passed out again but was fine once I was able to lay down somewhere cool.

Yesterday, I was back at the ER because of chest pain, feeling like I was going to pass out, left hand was locked, pain and pressure on the right side of my head, and for a while the left side of my face was sitff. The stiffness in my face went away on the way to the ER. Their CAT scan, EKG and blood work were normal. One doctor said it could be a seizure disorder. That I needed an MRI and EEG but that would have to be scheduled at the free clinic since there's no neurologist on call at that hospital. Second doctor diagnosed migraines even though I've only had the head pain with one episode. He put me on elavil with dose gradually increasing over three weeks. I'm worried about the medication because of my issues with chest pain and passing out. Some of the side effects listed said that elavil could cause those same symptoms.

Make the first available appointment with the Neurologist.
Explain to the reception staff that there have been multiple episodes and I'm sure they will get you in ASAP.
Good luck -- and follow through quickly.

You need to see a doctor immediately whether you have insurance or not. There are several conditions that could cause these things to happen but you need a diagnosis and treatment. You are playing roulette with your life. Get to a doctor.

This is nothing to fool around with. I am not a doctor but any time you have facial numbness or trouble with speech there is definatly something going on. Take care of yourself.
