Having seen Donovan play and knowing the EPL, he would struggle. He has speed and can take players on, but his shooting and final pass skills are poor. Playing for a decent EPL team might improve him, but definitely not the other way round.

If it's the same Landon Donovan that went home almost crying from Leverkusen because he missed home, I dare say it would create only negative hype, if any at all.

I don't think anyone would really even notice. Donovan is not EPL caliber - maybe he could play in the Championship.

About the only team he would make it into would be one of the bottom feeders, or Fulham...but they have enough Americans already on their payroll (McBride, Bocanegra, and Clint Dempsey).

Hell no i wouldnt. Man U has too many quality players that deserve time over him. Who's place would he take? No one's, United has quality over the pitch and he doesnt belong there...yet

He's American. i think England has enough talent already in their country that they dont need to start recruiting from the states.
