(1) Which fictional book has inspired you the most?
In recent fiction (past few years): Lovely Bones
Classic fiction: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
(2) If you were stuck on a desert island, which fictional book would you take with you?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (I'd take them all if I could)
(3) Which book did you enjoy reading the most (i.e. most entertaining, most fun).
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (I've read the entire series before it at least three times, and it felt like an old friend)

1) Can't choose! But one that definitely comes to mind is The Outsiders by SE Hinton. I wouldn't exactly say it inspired me, but it did change the way I look at other people. I guess it made me a little less ignorant.
2) The Lord of the Flies. Hands down. And if you read the book, you'd know why. It's a really pessimistic book about a bunch of kids stranded on an island but I guess it helps me keep my values and morals in check or something. And probably give me many amusing and scary hallucinations.
3) Again, I can't really choose. But the last book I read that I was really fun was Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. Even though the story takes place in high school, there is actually a real depth to it.
Yeah. I'm a teenager so all these books are young adult. I read a couple adult books but they were too mature and gross for me.

2 and 3 are definitely The Hobbit by Tolkien. I think that I might have to go with "The Sword in the Stone" by T H White for the first one. There are some really worthwhile life lessons in there.
Here are some other greats:

Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, and a short review of each book.
I hope this helps.

1st it would to be something I haven't read yet as most of the time I find it hard to re-read a book to second or third time and 2nd) it would have to a complete set meaning multi-volume set as I would need to go forward with the storyit.so in that vein,:
1) complete Sherlock Holmes by Conan Doyle
2) the complete "1001 Tales of the Abrabian Nights" as translated by Burton.
3)the flight engineer series by James Doohan
Sorry about the multi volumes, but I am what I am.
