The concern is with mercury that accumulates in some fish. Here's a good link with detailed lists of types of fish and how often it is safe to eat them during pregnancy: http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancyhealth/fishmercury.htm

Fish is first-class in being pregnant so long as it's fed on carefully! Tuna is first-class as soon as per week however that are meant to be all of the fish consumption for that week! should you pick some thing distinct that week pass out at the tuna and you can be first-class! You must no longer consume Grouper, Marlin, Orange roughy, Tilefish, Swordfish, Shark and Mackerel! Everything else is first-class carefully/ as soon as per week or each and every 2 weeks, relying at the mercury degree!

i would not eat raw fish.

if you are allergic to shellfish avoid those -- otherwise there is no reason you can't eat shell fish.... never heard of that one... i ate everything i wanted when i was pregnant, and then some!

congratulations on the baby!
