We can only hope so. A-rod is probably clean, at least from anything serious. Baseball really needs this record to be in the hands of someone who is clean. Even as a Red Sox Fan I am inclined to root for him.

Who knows, alot can happen in 7 years, allegations have been made that a-rod is not clean ,no lawsuits have been filed so who know if this is truth or not, personally i believe that more not less players then we realize are using performance enhancers ,unless there is rigorous testing well never weed out the cheaters, but we cant look at the players (at least i cant)without wondering what goes on behind closed doors

What information do you have that leads you to believe A-Rod is clean and Bonds isn't? And just as important what makes you think A-Rod will break the record Bonds puts up?

Arod is assumed clean. he may not be, im not saying he is on steroids, dont think that i am...i love A-Rod and who said its needs to be restored, the media is the only reason anyone even thinks about barry bonds and the alleged steroid use on his part

Prey tell... what exactly makes you think he (or ANYONE) is clean???

Allegedly, Canseco has information on A-Rod to be released in his next book.

We are frequently shown that those we think are squeaky clean aren't. Do the names Rafael Palmeiro, Rev. Ted Haggard, or Sen. David Vitter mean anything to you?

I think it will be. I would of liked to see where Ken Griffey would be had he stayed healthy. I also think Pujols has a good shot at getting near the record.
