Those are great names & personally, I also look for meaningful middle names for my children. Please reconsider the spelling of Raebekah, though. If you don't like the traditional Rebecca, try Rebekah.

Congrats!

I totally agree with you, I prefer different names as opposed to common names as well.

I like both names. Jonah Matthew is a great name!
Rebekah is beautiful, but I think the spelling of Raebekah would confuse people. She will most likely do a lot of correcting and explaining because of it. I understand why you are doing it though, with the nick name Rae. You don't have to put the nick name in the name itself. You could just name her Rebekah and call her Rae - that is completely acceptable.
Other unusual nicknames:
Rika
Rivi
Ree
Rivka

Another cute option would be to use Rae and your middle name Lynn and make Raelyn or Raeleen

Jonah Matthew is a very nice boy's name.

If it was Rebecca or Rebekah Lynn, I would really like it. However, Raebekah (Ray-becka) is a different name all together. You said you wanted to call her Rae for short. How about Raelene or something where it lends to that nickname naturally? Of course, that wouldn't work with Lynn unless you put something in between.

How about Becky Rae or something? Or Raelynn or Rae-Lynn?

As much as you want to be different, think of how many times you're going to have to explain it to others and then how many times she's going to have to explain it...... It happened here already.

Let her personality be what's unique and don't worry about the spelling. :)

PS - I have a friend who wanted to name one of her daughters Brooklynne so that's another idea where you can incorporate your middle name (mine is Lynn also).

I like Jonah Matthew that's really nice but not too fond of the way you spell Raebekah, but the name does go nice with Lynn.

Unless Raebekah is a family name I would go with a more traditional spelling, Rebecca or Rebecka. I think Rebecca Lynn is really pretty. I think Jonah and Matthew are both nice names, but I don't think they flow that well together because they both have two syllables.

not loving Reabekah... what kind of spelling is that? I like Lynn as a middle name thought. I dont' really like Jonah, it's very biblical, not that it is a bad thing, it's just an old name. Matther is good. What bout Christopher Matther? that's a strong name.. I like that.

I'm not crazy about making a name so difficult to spell.
I also like a thousand other biblical names better than those.
Isaac, Elijah, Sarah, Elizabeth, Eden, Adam, Delilah
Anyway, if you want her called Rae name her Rae. or RaeLynn.
Goodluck!

congratulations! well its up to you but i do not care for the spelling you have chosen for your girl,it will be spelled and said wrong and a real bother to the child.i would go with rebecca.i know my daughter Becky's name is spelled weird cause that's what her dad wanted and she and i have always hated it he chose to spell it robecca as close to his name of Robert as it could be in case we never had a son.we had 2 sons later.or you could spell her name as Becca or Rebekah but the more "unique" the name the more problems it is.i like your names other than that.if you like RAE so much you could name her raelynn.i had a friend with this name.good luck.

WOW i haven't heard Jonah i a long while... other than in the bible.. I like them. It ties the bible and the family together. Other names could be... Canaan (b), Grace (g), Eden (g), Elizabeth (g), Elijah(g), Gideon (b). Those are just ones I have heard... I think I like yours better though
