My eyes opened up, but I couldn't move my body at all. All I could do was hear my heartbeat. I thought I was dying in my sleep. Finally I could move, but It was really scary and weird. Has this ever happened to anyone before?

Yes, I think it's called sleep paralysis. It's exactly like you describe. It has happened to my husband many times, and oddly enough, it also happens to his twin brother too. It's scary and weird, but there in nothing you can do about it. Some people are just more prone to it happening than others.

This is completely normal. When this happens it just means that you are awake before your body is ready to wake up. Don't worry. This is normal.
